Kelcey McKinney, MHRM

Theta Chapter 2010 Initiate

Kelcey McKinney is a native of Dayton, OH and currently resides in Chicago, IL, where she works as an Associate in Learning and Talent Solutions at JP Morgan Chase & Co.

Outside of her 9-5, Kelcey is heavily involved in the running community and serves as the team manager for Nike Chicago’s first all-female sub-elite racing team, the Windrunners as well as a co-captain for GumboFit. GumboFit is a Chicago-based running club that thoughtfully bridges the worlds of underrepresented populations and the fitness mainstream through a diversity of programming and content curation. In addition to her involvement in the running community, Kelcey is an avid dancer/actress and has been featured on Fox’s Empire as well as The Thing About Harry, a romantic comedy which aired on Freeform and Hulu.

Kelcey holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Master of Human Resources Management (MHRM) from The Ohio State University. During her time at OSU, she acted as Vice President, Treasurer and Co-Stroll Master of Theta Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha, Sorority Inc. She was also a 4-year scholar-athlete on the Women’s Track and Field team where 3 Big Ten Conference Championship titles are among her notable honors.
